    Supplies Needed for This Design

    For Applique Block:
    • Small amounts of fabric for applique - black, white, pale blue, orange & yellow
    • Machine embroidery threads to match applique fabrics including darker yellow/orange for embroidering the eye
    • Small amounts of fusible web for applique
    • See 3rd Border for background fabric

    Checkerboard & Outer Border:
    • 1/4 yd accent fabric
    • 1/4 yd white fabric
    • 1/4 yd secondary fabric
    • 1/3 yd black fabric

    • 2nd Border: 1/4 yd light fabric
    • 3rd Border: 2/3 yd background fabric (enough for background of center block)
    • 3rd Border Accent: 1/8 yd Accent fabric (TWO 1-1/2" strips required)
    • Batting and backing fabric at least 4" larger than quilt top.
    • General sewing supplies including sewing machine, thread for piecing & quilting, rotary cutter etc.

    Yes, the most important thing to do is turn off any popup blocker. Popup blockers prevent the download window from being seen by you, yet we will not know about it so each time you try, it will appear to us that you have attempted to download the pattern.
    Here is a full list of things to try:
