    FORTY 3-1/2" squares of various fabrics for background, ranging from dark to medium in color.
    • 2/3 yd Border Fabric (border and binding)
    • TWO 1" strips of pale fabric for narrow inner border (optional)
    • ONE fat quarter of green fabrics (leaves and stems)
    • ONE fat eighth of white (flowers)
    • Scrap of gold (stamen)
    • 1yd fusible webbing
    • 30" x 36" batting
    • 30" x 36" backing fabric
    • Thread for piecing and quilting
    • Machine embroidery threads: white, several shades of green and gray
    • Fabric pens, pencils, or paints (optional)
    • Sewing machine and accessories
