- Description
This pattern offers the versatility of creating blocks using three different methods, all included in the pattern. Each block is constructed with half-square triangles, resulting in a swirling, leaf-blown wind effect. One side of the block remains plain while the other is pieced.
The three methods available are scrappy pieced, foundation pieced, and simply plain using a solid fabric triangle. Detailed instructions and foundation templates are provided for all methods.
The artistic design of the applique resembles half a ginkgo leaf and can be appliqued in a range of shades to complement any decor. The natural colors of real ginkgo leaves during the fall season can also inspire a stunning quilt.
