There are so many possibilities on how to create this block that there are too many to list. Position the appliques in a circle, fan them, layer them, a semi-circle or simply quilt them. Add decorative finishes such as satin stitch or blanket stitch or even couch over them. This pattern gives two layout possibilities to try and templates for the best way to cut these triangles to the right size. With simple tips, your quilt will come together in no time at all.

Both pattern layouts are included in the pattern!

    Quilt A
3 yds Background fabric (or 1-3/4 yd of one fabric and 1-1/4 yd of a second fabric for alternating background blocks)
1-4 yd Fabric 1 (Print or floral fabric for triangles)
1-5/8 yd Fabric 2: (triangles and main border)
1/2 yd Fabric 3: (triangles and accent border)

    Quilt B
    3/4 yd Background fabric
1/8 yd Fabric 1 (Print or floral fabric for triangles)
3/8 yd Fabric 2: (triangles and main border)
1/2 yd Fabric 3: (triangles and accent border)

    For Both Quilts
    1/4-1/2 yd binding fabric
Batting and backing fabric 2-4" larger than your finished top
Thread to match fabrics as well as threads that are darker
    Fusible Webbing (approximately 1 yd)
Cord and matching thread for couching - optional
    General quilting supplies
