Supplies Required for Workshop
Celebrations Quilt (quilt with scroll - see gallery)
- Backing, borders, hanging sleeve: 1/2 yard
- Center: fat quarter
- Binding: fat quarter or package of pre-made binding tape
- Batting: 22" x 28"
- Scroll/certificate: 9" x 12" rectangle (Marble or tone on tone batiks work well here) or a printable fabric sheet
Optional: depending on method and theme
- Stabilizer for Machine applique
- Scraps of fabric for applique
- Photo transfer fabric
- Fabric pen
- Embroidery thread
- Artificial flowers
- Ribbon
- Embellishments such as sports pins, prize ribbons, etc
- Freezer Paper or spray starch to stabilize fabric when writing
General Requirements:
- Sewing machine
- Basic quilting supplies such as scissors, rotary cutter, and mat, rulers, pins etc
