The year is whizzing past, and I have plenty to do to keep me busy. Let's see what I managed to complete for July.... (for a lowdown on what my Crafting Goals were for the year, see my blog post Crafting Goals 2025)
For quilting: A new flower block every month
Achieved! July's flower block is a Nasturtium - My nasturtium flower bursts with playful curves and bold personality - just like the cheeky blooms it’s inspired by!

For Knitting: A Challenge to complete my 25 for 2025 list. Here is the challenge: Knitting/Crochet 25 for 2025 challenge
Progress Made, but with only one thing crossed off the list!
I have been busy knitting, but mostly test knits for July. One being a pair of cotton socks (I usually use wool) - these were interesting and I'm keen to make more if I can find more cotton yarn suitable for socks - unfortunately, cotton socks were not on my list, but perhaps they should have been.

The one category I did cross off was #18: New Designer to me. I made this Wilfreda jumper designed by Wenche Roald. It is another use of mohair and oh so soft and warm.

For Spinning: 5 grams of roving each day all year
Achieved!
I've moved my little spinner to the coffee table which means when I want to watch something on the TV, I can get in a nice chunk of spinning.
This month, I finished spinning and then plied my beautiful purple.

I worked on the second batch of the roving I started last month and completed that.

Then began spinning this delightful tan.... I'm thinking of plying it with the above spun wool. I still have another bobbin to fill, and then the plying can begin.

For Crochet: A temperature blanket
Another Month Completed!
July's block is a little warmer than June's, now that I'm home again.... I imagine August's will be even warmer as we head towards spring - it suddenly doesn't seem too far away.

Toy Making: A gnome challenge by Sarah Schira (one every month).
7th Achieved!
I had lots of fun surprising my granddaughters with July's gnome "Leave Gnome Stone Unturned" - the pattern is not just one gnome but two. After completing it, I swapped out the little guy in the backpack for some mushrooms for my granddaughter's first visit and popped him back in, removing the mushrooms for the second visit.

Embroidery: Make a small Redwork ornament each month.
Achieved!
Have I mentioned? I'm really enjoying these little redwork embroideries. There are many more embroideries I want to do, too! I might need to up my game next month as there are still 6 of these embroideries to finish and only 5 months till the end of the year. They all need to be made into decorations, hopefully before December.

What crafting did you do this month?
