Turn all of those scrap pieces you have been saving into an amazing art quilt landscape! Don't have scraps? No worries! Marilyn will teach you how to turn fabric pieces into scraps.
In this workshop, you will learn how to cut, organize, piece, thread paint and finish a beautiful landscape. We will even learn a bit about basic art principles. This is such a fun way to create a stunning piece of art and all from those scraps you didn't know what to do with! You won't be using a pattern but you will be amazed at how easy and exciting it is to step out of your comfort zone and let the creativity flow! Marilyn is so looking forward to working with you!

Supplies Required for Workshop
You will be planning your own landscape (or if you wish, use Marilyn's as a guide) so the amounts of supplies will vary a great deal depending on what size you decide to make.
- Fabric scraps and/or fabric pieces
- Paper-backed fusible webbing
- Iron
- Sharp scissors, preferably one large and one small pair
- Teflon or silicone ironing sheet (optional)
- Muffin tins, small baggies, small containers, or large table
- Quilt base fabric
- Batting
- Thread
- Sewing machine
- Pins
- Fabric marker or magic marker
- Backing fabric
- Border fabric
