And here we are, the last day of our Challenge. Did you join in? I hope so, but if not, you know there is always January to start.... or maybe you just want to take a photo, one per week for the year. That's still a collection of 52 inspirational ideas!
If you did join in, and it doesn't even matter if you didn't take 31 photos, feel free to share them, or some of them. You can hashtag #DecemberQuiltChallenge on social media or just email me your favorite few. Do let me know if you don't mind me to sharing them, I won't unless you say Yes!
Without further ado, let's finish this month's challenge with my weekly photos.... and no, there wasn't many food photos at all!
My week 5 photos
Day 1: I received some roving to spin for Christmas, this piece intrigued me being mainly white with a hint of color.

Day 2: Hot again in Canterbury, but I managed a short walk around the shady side of the house. This hint of color definitely captured my eye.

Day 3: This photo is two photos, the one on the right is the photo I took for this challenge, the photo on the left is one I took about 6 months ago in the middle of winter. Amazing the contrast for the seasons.

Day 4: Here is a close up of a artichoke flower. I not only love the colors but also the shapes of the petals.

Day 5: It is amazing to see all the different shades of green in this photo. I took several photos similar as I strolled with friends along the river in Kaiapoi, Canterbury.

Day 6: Back home again now and the thought of looking down on a flower head gave me the idea to capture this photo of an agapanthus.

Day 7: Last but not least, breakfast on the last day of December. This salmon on cream cheese and homemade bread toasted, was definitely worthy of a photo.

Sketches and/or Notes
I just had to draw the agapanthus, it gives me so many ideas and I'm sure I'll be coming back to this one in the new year!
