    Question: I'm having trouble downloading the pattern, is there anything I should do?
    Yes, the most important thing to do is turn off any popup blocker. Popup blockers prevent the download window from being seen by you, yet we will not know about it so each time you try, it will appear to us that you have attempted to download the pattern.
    Here is a full list of things to try:

    This peony pattern features two construction methods - the original with individual flower petals and a simplified option for beginners where petals are grouped together so they can be cut as one piece. The lines to differentiate the petals can either be embroidered or drawn in with a fabric pen, making the block much easier and quicker to create.

    This pattern features full-sized template pieces, a true-to-size layout guide, and step-by-step instructions. As for all Ruth's applique flower blocks, her preference is machine applique using free-motion stitching however, several alternative methods can be used.  Included in this pattern are:
