    For Snowball blocks:
    • 8" Light fabric for background
    • 4" Medium tan fabric for corners

    For Nine-patch blocks:
    • 4" each of five or six different medium dark greens
    • 4" each of six or seven different medium greens
    • 4" each of five or six different medium light greens
    • 4" each of five or six different light greens
    • 4" each of two or three different very light greens

    Borders:
    • 14" light green fabric
    • 14" medium green fabric

    Applique:
    • 4" of purple for flowers
    • Scraps of pale purple for flower centers
    • Scraps of several greens for leaves and vines (or many scraps of various greens)
    • 6" binding fabric
    • 26" x 22" batting
    • 26" x 22" backing fabric
    • 1/2 yd fusible webbing
